Maastrichts Mooiste moved to Sunday, June 13, 2021
4/7/2020
Due to recent developments around COVID-19 (corona virus) Maastrichts Mooiste will not take place on Sunday, June 14, 2020. Partly due to the uncertain course of the virus, the organization has decided to move the 17th edition of Maastrichts Mooiste to Sunday, June 13, 2021.
The purchased start tickets from edition 2020 will remain valid for the postponed edition on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Especially for participants who cannot or do not want to participate in the postponed edition, there is a supply and demand platform. This is where all individual participants can offer their start tickets (including any additional products purchased) so that people looking for a start ticket can easily find it. "We regret having had to make this decision, but it is inevitable. The world is in an uncertain situation that cannot be foreseen. The enormous impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) affects everyone, including the event industry. It goes without saying that the health of our participants, volunteers, spectators and others involved is our first priority. We therefore take our responsibility to ensure that the virus cannot spread any further. Even if this means that a large part of our events cannot take place on the originally planned date.
Therefore, as organizers of sporting events who believe that daily exercise is crucial in a quest for a healthier world, we want to call on everyone to still keep moving in a responsible manner - within the rules set by the government. Check out keepmoving.eu for fun challenges that help you keep moving," said Mario Kadiks, CEO of Golazo Sports Netherlands.
